Rotary Kiln

In a collaborative AMIRA project, P581, a CFD model of the bed rheology in a rotary kiln has been developed. Details of the rheology were obtained from DEM simulation and implemented in the CFD model. The animation shows the predicted bed surface in a rotary kiln with the color indicating the axial bed velocity.

If the animation does not load or is of poor quality, try running this compiled Smacker file: d4.exe (1.1MB).
